Voices4Freedom helped to free an enslaved village in India from generational slavery.
Susie, in association with Artists for Human Rights, an organization that has partnered with Schools4Freedom brings entire villages to freedom by educating children and teaching everyone about their rights. At our schools in northern India, children are taught the 3 Rs and everyone learns how to use the legal system to fight their slave owners and free themselves forever.
- Six more people left slavery situations which makes a total of 92 people who have come to freedom
- The 39 children enrolled in Schools4Freedom are not just learning the basic education curriculum, but their rights, helpline numbers, the dangers of child marriage, warning signs of trafficking and so much more

Susie is on the board member of the organization WriteGirl. WriteGirl is a Los Angeles-based creative writing and mentoring organization that spotlights the power of a girl and her pen. At WriteGirl, we match girls with women writers who mentor them in creative writing. WriteGirl is a thriving community with 200 volunteer women writers serving more than 500 girls annually.
